PREMIER WALKERS CLUB- TOP FUNDRAISERS $3,000 AND UP

Benefits of the Premier Walkers Club include:

5. Once you hit the $3,000 mark, you will be automatically entered to win challenges throughout the Walk MS season.  

ELITE 200- TOP 200 WALK MS FUNDRAISERS

MISSION FIRST CLUB

Many of our participants who earn prizes generously donate them back to further support our mission - to create a world free of multiple sclerosis. By donating the cost of your prize back you are directly helping the National MS Society put more money toward making a difference in the lives of those affected by MS. The Mission First Club is set up to honor and recognize these individuals. Contact Natale Raimo, Senior Development Manager at Natale.Raimo@nmss.org or 631-864-8337 ext. 53225 if you would like to forgo your prize and become a member of our Mission First Club.

To be an eligible member of the Mission First Club, individuals must raise a minimum of $250 and forgo his/her prize by August 8, 2014. Members will be listed online. 

Fundraising is the most important part of your participation in Walk MS. Your efforts will help us create a world free of MS.

Online Fundraising

• Once you access your Participant Center, you can update your personal fundraising page (and your team page if you are a team captain), track your progress, and reach out to your friends and family with the email templates. Each time you send an email from your Participant Center, a link to your personal fundraising page (and team page) is automatically added.

• From your Participant Center home page, you can download our Walk MS Facebook application. The application will feature your fundraising goal, track your fundraising progress, and allows others to donate, on your behalf, for Walk MS.

HOST YOUR OWN FUNDRAISING EVENT

Raise money for a great cause and have FUN doing it. You can plan any kind of event yourself- garage sale, dinner party, bake sale, a poker tournament, Zumba-thon, silent auction, etc. and donate the proceeds toward your Walk MS fundraising efforts.

• Partner with a local bar or restaurant for a fundraising night. ask a local bar or restaurant if they would be willing to donate a percentage of their profits from one night to your fundraising efforts. They may even be willing to display information about MS or brochures to help raise awareness and money.

We can support you in your event planning by:

• Sending you materials about multiple sclerosis and about the National MS Society.
•  
• We can provide the Walk MS logo for you to use (within our branding guidelines). Please note: All logo usage must be pre-approved by a Long Island Chapter staff member.
•  
• A Long Island Chapter staff member may be able to attend your event.
•  
• Post your event information on our Calendar of Events listing.
